• Interview with a Vampire

No, it's not like TV, movies or books. You don't have to believe me either. Doesn't matter to me if you read for entertainment or to read comments you believe come from a real vampire. Vampires are very real and live all over the world. We look just like everyone else. We have some abilities that 'normals' don't have and we do live very long lives without apparent aging. I was born in 1799 and still look 30. I look forward to your questions and will post musings about the history I have witnessed.

Sunny Days

Posted on April 20th, 2009 by Vampire

As the sun spends more time in the daytime sky, I find myself retreating to the night more and more. Thunderstorms will be here almost daily in another month or so allowing me to move around mid-afternoon more easily.
I wanted to ask your opinion. My host (Internet Host) has offered to set-up a message board [...]

Return from the Undead

Posted on February 4th, 2009 by Vampire

Hi everyone!  I am back from my little trip to Vegas. I was much too busy to keep up with the blog but will get back to regular posting.
Las Vegas was great. Saw a few shows, hung out with friends and met some new vampire friends as well.
Welcome to all the new readers. I will [...]

Living in a Digital Age

Posted on December 29th, 2008 by Vampire

A member recently asked how a vampire can retain assets and identities in this age of constant tracking, computer records and security run amok. Very good question.
Until the last few years, this has been no problem at all. I always keep several identities working at any given time and begin new ones every few years. [...]

Random Musings and My New Hobby

Posted on December 11th, 2008 by Vampire

Just a few random thoughts and what I accomplished tonight:
First, what do I do with my time? I am somewhat addicted to television. I have DirecTV with every channel they offer. I love HD and use a DVR to record the programs I like. I love science fiction but I don’t care for fantasy.
I spend [...]

Language, What Does It Mean?

Posted on December 6th, 2008 by Vampire

A recent link posted by a reader got me to thinking about language and how it has changed over the years.
I have experienced just over 200 years of progress and have come to believe that not all progress is good. Technology has brought us a standard of living that was undreamed of only a few [...]

True Blood Review - 11/4/08

Posted on November 4th, 2008 by Vampire

Sorry for my recent absence.  Had some business outside the country to attend to.  I am caught up on True Blood and thought I would add some comments.
First, when vampires burn, they do not turn into a sticky goo like shown in the program. Vampires actually turn to ash, including the bones.  After a fire, there [...]

Fake Vampires - Entertaining

Posted on September 29th, 2008 by Vampire

I find it entertaining when people pretend to be a real vampire. Some drink blood thinking that makes them a vampire. Some dress like they think a vampire would dress and hide from the daylight.
How do you tell if someone is a vampire? You really can’t. Over time, you might be able to discover enough [...]

True Blood - Comments

Posted on September 23rd, 2008 by Vampire

The new HBO series True Blood is interesting.  I have watched the third episode now and wanted to comment on the Vampire rules and abilities seen so far.
The show is correct that drinking a Vampire’s blood will not turn you into a vampire.  It would probably make a person sick to their stomach.  No magical [...]

Out of the Office

Posted on September 21st, 2008 by Vampire

Sorry for my absence over the past week.  I had some business to take care of out of town.  I am back and will get to some of your questions shortly.

Hello world!

Posted on September 7th, 2008 by admin

I know you won’t believe this but that doesn’t really matter.  I am an actual, real-life vampire that has decided to reveal myself to the public while remaining relatively anonymous on the Internet.
A little about myself.  I am a male, appearing about 30 years of age, but I was born in 1799 in La Nouvelle Orléans, now known [...]
