• Interview with a Vampire

No, it's not like TV, movies or books. You don't have to believe me either. Doesn't matter to me if you read for entertainment or to read comments you believe come from a real vampire. Vampires are very real and live all over the world. We look just like everyone else. We have some abilities that 'normals' don't have and we do live very long lives without apparent aging. I was born in 1799 and still look 30. I look forward to your questions and will post musings about the history I have witnessed.

Only the stake is effective against a vampire but he would have already killed you while you fumbled with the cross, holy water and garlic, none of which cause a vampire any problems.

Living in a Digital Age

Posted on December 29th, 2008 by Vampire

A member recently asked how a vampire can retain assets and identities in this age of constant tracking, computer records and security run amok. Very good question.
Until the last few years, this has been no problem at all. I always keep several identities working at any given time and begin new ones every few years. [...]

Random Musings and My New Hobby

Posted on December 11th, 2008 by Vampire

Just a few random thoughts and what I accomplished tonight:
First, what do I do with my time? I am somewhat addicted to television. I have DirecTV with every channel they offer. I love HD and use a DVR to record the programs I like. I love science fiction but I don’t care for fantasy.
I spend [...]

I am trying to keep up with your questions while I complete a dream I have had for over 70 years. I will post about it soon but it is very hard to complete restricted to nighttime.

Lots of questions this week. Some really long ones too. Let me get started.
Margaret asks:
I came upon your site after seeing the EPIC FU episode you have already mentioned. While the logical part of my brain says that there is no way you are what you claim, I guess it is rather like Disney and [...]

Language, What Does It Mean?

Posted on December 6th, 2008 by Vampire

A recent link posted by a reader got me to thinking about language and how it has changed over the years.
I have experienced just over 200 years of progress and have come to believe that not all progress is good. Technology has brought us a standard of living that was undreamed of only a few [...]

Answer to Fair777

Posted on December 4th, 2008 by Vampire

Fair777 asked,
You mentioned about the non-fictional sources about vampires. Would you look at this two sites about “real” vampires and give some comments? I wonder the “facts” they wrote appear to be true to you or not.

I am very interested in the “Inheritor” theory, which people are born with the gene of vampires and inherit [...]

I see lots of questions this week and some are getting very interesting…
First, Lunastar asks,
Can you think of any discrepencies between the history you have actually witnessed and the history written in books?
Funny you ask.  History can be very different when witnessed from different points of view. None is actually wrong, just a different perspective. [...]
